Mike is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Management. He grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, and still carries the same small-town values of hard work, honesty, and community that have shaped both his personal and professional life.
Mike’s connection to Oz’s Jewelers is a meaningful one. He purchased Jamie’s original engagement ring after selecting a loose diamond from a family jewelry store much like Oz’s Jewelers. Years later, before working at the store, Oz’s Jewelers helped him update that same diamond in a beautiful trilogy ring to represent their past, present, and future together, creating a lasting memory and personal connection with the store.
With more than 40 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, Mike has built a career centered on trust, integrity, and lasting customer relationships. He believes that happiness in what you do comes from truly understanding people’s needs, and he looks forward to bringing that same commitment and personal touch to the customers of Oz’s Jewelers.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his five grandkids, traveling with his wife Jamie (who also works at Oz's Jewelers!), cheering on App State football on Saturdays, playing golf, and working in his yard.
